This declaration tells you which cookies and similar technologies nettsmed.no uses, what they do, and how you control them. How we process personal data otherwise is described in the privacy statement.

1. How your choice works

The first time you visit the site, we show a banner with two equally prominent choices: Accept and Decline. We set nothing for statistics or marketing before you have chosen.

  • Accept switches on Google Analytics, Google Ads measurement, OpenAI's ad pixel and PostHog.
  • Decline loads none of them. We delete the Google cookies (_ga, _ga_* and _gcl_au) and the PostHog data held in your browser, including any you carry over from an earlier version of the website.

Google Tag Manager, which controls these services, is fetched from Google on every page so that your choice can be followed (Consent Mode v2). Before you have chosen, and if you decline, all storage and advertising features are denied: no cookies are set, and analytics and advertising tags are not activated. Google still receives the technical data that accompanies any web request, such as your IP address, when the script is fetched.

The choice is stored only in your browser. You can change it at any time with «Manage consent» at the bottom of the page. If you have set your browser not to store data for the site, we ask you again at every visit.

The legal basis is the Norwegian Electronic Communications Act § 3-15 and consent under GDPR art. 6(1)(a). Cookies that are necessary for the site to work do not require consent.

2. Necessary and functional

These are set without consent, because the site does not work properly without them, or because you asked for the feature.

5. Third parties

6. Deleting or blocking them yourself

You can delete cookies in your browser settings at any time, or set the browser to block them. Be aware that parts of the website may stop working if you block all of them.
